About Fernando Azeved`o

Motivated by his passion for well-being and health, Fernando Azevedo has, through his skills and clinical and scientific knowledge, treated and cured many people with different types of muscle-skeletal illnesses and muscle pain over many years.

With a passion for natural healing and compassionate care, Fernando Azevedo started his endeavours in the public and private health care system by providing direct patient care in many hospitals in diverse areas: orthopedics clinics, emergency room, intensive care units in nursing and physiotherapy roles.

Looking for further training and knowledge on Physical Therapy and natural rehabilitation and focusing on manual therapy, Fernando Azevedo pursued Biomedicine and graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Brazil. He then earned the DOMP (Diplomate of Osteopathy Manual Practitioner) in Canada, an MBA in Health Care Management in Spain, and the European D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy) Title in Spain. With nearly three decades of experience in the healthcare system, Fernando has primarily dealt with spine and musculoskeletal disorders.

He founded a Spinal Clinic in Sao Paulo, contributing significantly to the rehabilitation of numerous individuals. Fernando has also shared his expertise as an international speaker and lecturer in the field of Osteopathy, presenting in countries such as Canada, Brazil, and Latin America.

As a member of Physiotherapists and the Creffito-3 Regional Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy in Brazil, Fernando's credentials extend internationally. In Canada, he has obtained certifications as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP), Certified in Foot Orthotics, Osteopathic Manipulative Therapist, and Diplomate of the Canadian Manual Osteopathy Examining Board.

He is an active member of the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths in Ontario (CRMO) and the International Osteopathic Association (IOA). In Toronto, Fernando established "Osteopathy Care - Hands on for your health," a welcoming space catering to all communities. Having served thousands of individuals in Brazil and Canada, Fernando Azevedo has become a trusted figure in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for Osteopathy and manual therapy. He specializes in treating various pathologies associated with the spine and musculoskeletal diseases, providing effective pain relief and holistic care.
